3B Software Ltd is a company registered in England which provides free software solutions targeted mainly at the hospitality sector (hotel, bed and breakfast, guesthouse etc), however touching on a few others as well (mobile, online etc). While the core of our market is based in the UK, by taking an open-source approach to delivering our systems we are making our software available worldwide through our website(s).
And this is the purpose of 3bsoft.net — to open up our software to the world. You have probably seen our main company site 3b-software.co.uk and noticed that the site, while relatively rich in content, is intended for companies who are interested in a collaboration regarding integrating our solutions and / or for those who are considering buying one of our add-on packages — in other words, our main website is what you would probably call “business-oriented”. In contrast with that, 3bsoft.net is intended to simply deliver just technical notes and updates to our customers — and together with our forums section is intended to be used by everyone who downloads our software — from the non-techie mobile user to the Java-developer who is occasionally helping us with developing our software.
