SVN / Forge

SVN has been configured on our servers and the first repository for this has been populated and is now available for anonymous checkout from our Forge section.

Please be aware that the SSL certificate used to access the SVN repository is a self-sign certificate and therefore it will render a warning in most browsers and SVN clients. For the time being, until we install a VeriSign certificate on our servers please bear with us and ignore this problem — typically you will have to “accept” or “add exception” in your browser/SVN client.

Mobile and Hotel Section

You will notice that the mobile section and the hotel section of our website are currently offline. This is due to our staged migration of our sourcecode to SVN which is currently in progress, with the software utilities section being the first to be migrated — once this is sorted out and made available to the public, then we move onto the mobile section and finally onto the hotel software. During the migration we expect to occasionally experience SVN/forge downtime — please bear with us throughout this process. An announcement will be made on our website once the full migration is finished — however, expect to see some intermediary updates as we make progress on each section.

Our forums section is finally up and running! You can see for yourself by visiting http://forums.3bsoft.net.

The forums section has just gone online at 01:00 am this morning (thank God for coffee!) and while the board is currently disabled, it is just waiting for a turn of a switch for it to be fully-available to our users.

Migration of Software Utilities Started

We have just started the process of migrating the code for our software utilities to our new servers — this involves migrating the repository to an SVN repository first, mirroring, configuring anonymous checkout access and finally providing a stable release for download as well.

Once the migration is finished there will be a few announcements regarding the outcome of this migration and links to where the software can be downloaded to together with instructions about SVN access, compilation etc.
